I earned my Dentistry degree from the University of Sydney in 1989 and began my career in Armidale and Byron Bay, where I gained invaluable experience treating a wide range of dental conditions across all age groups. This hands-on experience has shaped my expertise in delivering high-quality dental care to patients of all ages.

While practising Dentistry, I took the opportunity to travel and loved immersing myself in other cultures and have had many great life experiences along the way.

After ten years of Dentistry, I was offered a position to study as a Specialist in Orthodontics at Sydney University and graduated in 2001.
I have been practising Orthodontics on the Northern Beaches for 18 years and have enjoyed all aspects of private practice and especially enjoy the orthodontic transformation of my patients smiles.
Outside of Orthodontics I enjoy spending time with my wife Simone and our six kids. We especially love the beach and going for a surf with the kids. Manly is one of our favourite places to enjoy the outdoors.”

Early Treatment

Early treatment has the best results. The Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO) recommends kids see an orthodontist between the ages of six and eight. As an orthodontist on the Northern Beaches for 20 years, and with a branch practice at Northbridge we know that early detection and treatment to correct jaw growth and certain bite problems, such as underbite have better outcomes. Making room for permanent teeth to come in properly will lessen the chance of future extractions.
